Opening of TUD Excite Innovation Hub (Dresden, Germany), Today:

I had this great opportunity today to participate in “Grand Opening of TUD Excite Innovation Hub (TUD|excite) for Technology Transfer, Startups and Entrepreneurship. It was nice to hear about the mission and vision of TUD|excite, with certain facilities, tools, and support of industrial and governmental organization partners in Dresden, Saxony, and Germany towards planed international goals in short and long term.

The progressive international atmosphere of Technical University of Dresden and academic-industrial partners in Saxony, is really promising. The keynote lectures by Prof. Ursula Staudinger (Rector of Technische Universität Dresden), Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart Director of TUD|excite and Staatssekretär Thomas Kralinski , were really inspiring, indicating natural challenges that we should manage for Technology Developments and Entrepreneurship via Startups and the great potential and resources of Dresden and Saxony in this way. The supports and facilities of TUD-Excite for this purpose were presented also in some details by Dr. Frank Pankotsch, RTTP (Managing Coordinator of TUD|excite) and colleagues.

Head of Corporate Research & Technology (ZEISS Group) Michelangelo Masini also presented some great examples of startups developments, they have been involved, emphases on the importance of having development map road for different steps of technology and products developments, highlighting importance of being continuous and keen in the way of development, even if not perfect facility and conditions. We had opportunity to see several startups pitches, with a nice free discussions and dinner together. Thanks to TUD|excite innovation hub, and our great partners such as dresden|exists and futureSAX – die Innovationsplattform des Freistaates Sachsen for this nice program towards a bright future for Dresden and Saxony, and international partners, which is also our mission via World-Academies.Com
