About the World-Academies (WAC):
World-Academies (WAC) is a Global “Remote Teaching and Research” (RTR) Collaboration Organization, based in Germany (Knowledge Management Startup at Technical University of Dresden), developing novel frameworks for interactive online education and running joint scientific and industrial projects, via professional working groups and academies developed by the professors, group leaders, experts and students, in close collaboration with academic and technological partners.
WAC is not only a scientific network to connect and communicate with potential partners and experts, but also WAC is a practical working space with the required integrated tools, facilities, and frameworks for remote collaboration, projects development and online education including group management, documents sharing for live presentations, and audio-video call (bilateral and grouping) for group discussions on proposals, projects and manuscripts, etc. It also includes Learning Management System (LearnDash) for professional organization of the courses, training programs and required examinations for certification.
WAC activities are managed with the presence of group leaders, experts and related teaching and research assistants, and mentors, available to support running research activities and career developments. WAC CFD Academy and Transport Phenomena Academy: WAC has been pioneer of organizing Supervised-Live Online Courses in fundamental science and engineering with specific focus on Fluid Dynamics, Heat and Mass Transport Phenomena, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Simulations, Multiphase Flows, Turbulence Modeling and Simulation, OpenFOAM CFD Simulation and Programming, Dynamic Surface Phenomena, Machine Learning, etc., for more than 1000 international students and experts since 2023.
